It is well known that Apple Inc. does not provide a native application on Android to manage files stored in Apple iCloud Drive on an Android device.
As a result, Sync for iCloud was developed, which lets manage, download and upload files on Apple iCloud Drive on an Android device through a native application.
Follow these 4 simple steps to get Apple iCloud Drive running on your Android device:
1. Download Sync for iCloud from the Google Play Store
Click here to be taken to the Google Play Store and press the ‘Install’ button to start the installation process.
2. Open the app and enter your username and password
Enter the username and password used to log in to your iCloud account. In the next step, you will then be asked to enter the 2 factor authentication code which will be sent to one of your Apple devices.
3. Upon successful authentication, a code will be sent to one of your Apple devices. Enter this code.
Be sure to have on of your Apple devices next to you as the code will be sent to any of your Apple devices.
4. Log in is successful
You may start using the application to manage files, download files or upload files on Apple iCloud Drive.
